What do you want? Do you know how to ask? A Novena of Encounters are being offered to you. 9 months September thru May! Try it all 9 months or just 10 minutes on one of the evenings will be time well spent with Jesus!

Learn how to ask, how to block the noise of the world, how to hear Jesus speaking directly to you and how to feel peaceful in all circumstances. Bring your children, parents and friends - do not deny anyone these moments.

New this season - we will alternate between both of our parishes beginning Wednesday, September 9th at St. Alphonsus, Peru for 1 hour, with a new start time - 6:30pm.

Includes Music and Reflection. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available for those who need it during the hour!

From Fr. Chris… in humble thanksgiving to God, who has called and sustained me in His priestly ministry for 25 years, I offer a Jubilee celebration and I sincerely invite you to join me in the Holy Mass of Thanksgiving.

Mass at 5pm on Saturday, August 29th at St. Alphonsus, Peru. Reception in the social hall immediately following the Mass. Congratulations Fr. Chris and thank you for your service to God and the people of the parishes that you have served and will serve!

Please register students grades K thru 8 in Family Faith Formation (formerly PSR). This program offers monthly classes beginning September 20th for the whole family. For our parishioner students- this program is required if not enrolled in a Catholic School in order to learn the basics of our Catholic faith and in order to be prepared to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Msgr Ken Morman passed away on Tuesday, May he rest in peace. We will miss him a great friend and inspiration!

Rev. Msgr. Kenneth G. Morman, age 79, of Norwalk, Ohio, a lifelong servant of the Lord, entered into eternal heavenly rest on Tuesday morning, July 28, 2026. Reverend Nicholas J. Cunningham, Priest of the Diocese of Toledo, died on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Father Nick attended St. Charles School and graduated from Central Catholic High School before studying for the priesthood at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Toledo and faithfully served the people of Northwest Ohio throughout his priestly ministry. Known for his gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and generous pastoral care, Father Nick ministered in numerous parish assignments, most recently serving as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in New Bavaria and St. Mary in Holgate. May He Rest in Peace.
