I love this thought because it reminds me that my relationship with God is a two-way conversation.

When I pray, I’m talking to God. I bring Him my worries, my fears, my needs, my gratitude, and the things weighing on my heart. I don’t have to have the perfect words. I just need to come to Him honestly.

When I read His Word and worship Him, I’m making room to hear from God. Through the Bible, He reminds me of His promises, corrects my thinking, strengthens my faith, and shows me the way I should go.

Sometimes, I get so busy telling God what I need that I forget to slow down and listen to what He has already said.

We all face difficult days, uncertain times, and moments when we don’t understand what God is doing. That’s why we need more than a prayer list. We need a relationship with Him.

Prayer is not just about talking. It’s also about listening, trusting, and allowing God’s Word to speak into our lives.

Today, take time to talk to God, then open His Word and let Him speak to you.

The more time we spend with Him, the more we learn to recognize His truth, trust His promises, and walk by faith—even when life doesn’t make sense.

Lord, help me not only to bring my heart to You, but also to quiet my heart long enough to hear Your truth.

You keep letting your worst chapter title your whole story.
The mistake you can't undo. The label that stuck. The version of you that everyone remembers, even though you've changed.
But what if you've been listening to the wrong voice?
People define you by what you did. Jesus defines you by what He did for you. Your actions tell a story of failure. The cross tells a story of freedom.
You are not your past. You are not your shame. You are not what they called you.
In Christ, you are forgiven. You are new. You are His.

Lord, be with this precious family. Hold them tight, Father, as they walk a road no parent ever wants to walk. Surround them with Your peace that passes all understanding, and carry them not just through today, but through the days and years ahead.
To these grieving parents: Our heart breaks with yours. Please know you are not alone. We are here for whatever you need, whenever you need it and we will continue to lift you in prayer without ceasing.
May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you strength for each moment.

Good afternoon everyone,
My name is Tim, and I represent the Faith Riders of Monroe, North Carolina.
This past Friday, we had an unfortunate accident involving a fellow motorcyclist. Regardless of whether he rides with any chapter or not he is one of us, a brother of the road and right now he is in critical condition and on life support.
I'm asking if we can all come together in faith and lift him up in prayer, along with his family who are living every family's worst nightmare right now.
But let's not stop there. Let's pray not only for him, but for everyone who is going through something the hurting, the worried, the weary, the ones fighting battles we can't see.
There is power in prayer. There is power when God's people unite as one.
Please join me in asking for a miracle.
