What a wonderful way to celebrate another successful school year!

Our entire school—from preschool through 8th grade—enjoyed an exciting end-of-the-year field trip to the Toledo Zoo. Families joined us for this special day, creating an opportunity to learn, explore, and make lasting memories together.

From observing incredible animals to sharing laughs with friends and loved ones, the day was filled with joy and connection. Opportunities like this showcase the value of a school where families are actively involved and students are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow.

As we reflect on another year of growth, we are thankful for the relationships, experiences, and faith that unite our school. Together, we continue to be Grounded and Growing in God’s Word, nurturing both hearts and minds as we prepare students for the future.

On Sunday, June 14th, the Sitas family will be in Michigan and plan on worshiping with us at church.

What a fantastic day!!!

Today, our students from Preschool through 8th Grade enjoyed an exciting Field Day filled with field events, games, activities, teamwork, and plenty of smiles! From friendly competition to cheering on classmates, it was a wonderful day of building friendships, making memories, and celebrating our school community.

At Holy Ghost Lutheran School, we’re proud to be Grounded and Growing in God’s Word—in the classroom, on the field, and in every experience we share together.

Our K-1 students recently wrapped up their exciting Sound Detectives program with Mrs. Henderson SLP from the Monroe ISD!

Equipped with their detective packets and handmade binoculars, students explored the world around them while identifying sounds in their environment. Throughout the program, they participated in engaging activities focused on phonics, language development, sound recognition, and articulation practice—all reinforcing the reading skills they build every day in the classroom.

Teamwork, patience, and problem-solving!

Our After Care students have been hard at work assembling a 300-piece wooden puzzle—and what a fun challenge it has been! Even more exciting, some of the puzzle pieces are shaped like animals, making every discovery a surprise.

A special thank you to Mrs. O’Nan for providing this engaging activity that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration while students build friendships and have fun after school.
