God is so good! His generosity is boundless!

Our garden is growing—and so are our students! Today we picked beans and tomatoes, while our preschoolers got their hands in the soil digging for potatoes.

What a beautiful opportunity to experience God’s provision firsthand and learn that when we are Rooted in Christ, we grow in faith, joy, and gratitude. 💙🤍

At Holy Ghost Lutheran Church & School, we believe that being rooted in Christ means caring for the people around us.

Our Blessings Pantry is available for anyone in the community who may be experiencing a time of need. Take what you need, and if you’re able, leave a donation for someone else.

A community prayer box is also located near the pantry. You’re welcome to leave a prayer request — our church family would be honored to pray for you.

It’s one small way we can live out our calling to love our neighbors and share God’s blessings. 💙🤍

Seeds were sown, the garden was blessed, and now we get to see God’s goodness growing!

Last year, our preschool students planted a garden with Mrs. Eby. They learned that God is the Creator of all things and that He provides everything we need—including the sunshine, rain, and soil that help tiny seeds grow.

“And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:11–12 ESV

So let us harvest God’s bounty. We are truly blessed to watch our children learn about God’s Word while experiencing the goodness of His creation firsthand.

We’re so thankful to celebrate Mr. Majewski today! Now in his second year at Holy Ghost, he has quickly become a valued part of our school. His students have quickly come to appreciate his teaching, encouragement, and the relationships he builds with them.

What a special way to celebrate the first Friday of a new school year! Today we celebrate nine years of Pastor’s official ministry at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church & School. His service with Holy Ghost began even earlier, in 2016, and we are so thankful for the many years he has faithfully served, led, taught, and grounded our church and school in Christ. 💙🤍

A Blessed Beginning to a New School Year!

Today was a very special day at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church & School as we gathered together to begin another school year rooted in Christ!

We began with the Blessing of Backpacks following the Children’s Message during our church service.

We were also blessed to celebrate the commissioning and installation of Julia McGuire as a Lutheran school teacher. We are so thankful to welcome her to the Holy Ghost family and look forward to seeing how God will work through her ministry with our students!

Our teachers and staff were dedicated/ rededicated for another year of service.

Following the divine service , we traveled over to the school’s campus for the Blessing of Holy Ghost Lutheran School and its facilities. We prayed our way through the building, visiting and blessing each classroom as we prepare to fill these spaces with learning, laughter, friendship, and—most importantly—the Word of God.

We ended our morning together with fellowship and snacks in the gym and cafeteria. What a beautiful reminder that Holy Ghost is more than a school—it is a community of faith.

At Holy Ghost, we are Grounded and Growing in God’s Word. We are praying for a year filled with faith, friendship, learning, and growth—and we are grateful for every student, family, teacher, staff member, and church member who makes this place so special.

Last night, our Holy Ghost Lutheran School families gathered together in God’s house as we prepare to begin another school year—and what a beautiful reminder of what makes this place so special.

Our 2026–2027 theme is “Rooted in Christ,” inspired by Colossians 2:6–7 ESV

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

At Holy Ghost, we believe education is about so much more than what happens inside a classroom. We are planting deep roots in God’s Word so our students can grow in faith, spiritually, academically, intellectually, and socially.

We are blessed to walk alongside our families as we nurture these young hearts—teaching them, encouraging them, praying for them, and pointing them always to Jesus.

To our returning families: thank you for continuing to entrust your children to us. We are excited to grow another year together.

And to families who may be searching for a school where their child will be known, loved, challenged, and grounded in Christ—we would love for you to discover what makes Holy Ghost special.

A new school year is beginning. New friendships will grow. New memories will be made. And through it all, our roots remain firmly planted in Christ. We are Grounded and Growing in God’s Word.

There’s something special about growing up surrounded by people who know you, care about you, and make memories with you.

This summer, our families participated in Holy Ghost on the Road, where we gathered together a few times for friendship, fun, and plenty of memories! Our final adventure took us fishing and, what a fun time it was!

These are the moments we love about our Holy Ghost community. Our school is more than a classroom—it’s a place where friendships grow, faith is shared, and children are surrounded by a community that cares about them.
