What a great Wednesday Night we had. I love these kids and these leaders. If you are looking for a great church family we would love to have you at Trinity Baptist Church, Monroe NC. We have something for all ages. Our youth meets on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 and on Sunday Mornings at 8:45. Come out and see what God is doing!

Get in your Bible and use some spiritual discernment. There are plenty of wolves amongst the flock. The Good Shepherd is going to sort it all out in the end.

This is what the Church is called to do! Continue to pray for this ministry and all involved. And yes we need to continue being the church even when moms don’t choose life. There is grace and mercy available for them and redemption through the precious blood of Jesus Christ!

LOVE LIFE Ministry is one that our Church supports; as they are not just an advocate for Life at Conception BUT are an advocate for Jesus Christ!!!

This Saturday's Charlotte Prayer Walk (May 9th) was a packed one, with 13 Churches represented but better than that; THE GOSPEL was represented. Reported that morning, there were 36 Mamas scheduled for that particular Saturday for an abortion - please pray for each one, Church.

Our prayers should not stop if a mother chooses abortion, we should remain fervent in prayer for them; as post-abortive Mamas need those prayers; as the battle after abortion rages on. They need a Church interceding for them.

We went and supported several of our girls playing volleyball at Lee Park tonight. Later we all went out to eat. It was a great time and the girls did great. It is such a blessing to be apart of this youth family. We had several that couldn’t make it and they were missed. If you are looking a for a church home and a youth group we would love to have you at Trinity!

On Wednesday night we went through Psalm 77. We talked about remembering the works of the Lord in our life. We made a reflection board and the youth pinned little reminders to it reflecting on what God has done in their life. We all need reminding when the old devil gets us down and discouraged. We will hang it up in the youth room and add to it for those days we need reminding of how good God is.
Psalm 77:11-“ I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old”

What a blessing it was this morning as 3 of our youth followed through with believers baptism this morning after giving their lives to Jesus Christ! Jesus is still in the saving business folks. We are excited to see what God is going to do in these young people’s life! Congrats Skylar, Brenin, and Connor! We love you!

I didn’t take too many pictures because we were having too much fun, but it was a great night with our youth at the lock-in last night! I love this group of young people!
