Today we pause to honor and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and faithfulness of the men and women who serve our families, our communities, and our nation.

Whatever work God has given you to do, do it with purpose and give it your very best.

🔥 FAITH THAT RESISTS 🔥

What a powerful reminder from James 1:13–18 today!

Temptation will come. The question is not "IF" we will be tempted, but "what will we do when temptation comes?"

We were reminded today:

“When temptation tells me that God isn't enough, faith reminds me that God is good.”

Temptation may knock, but we don't have to open the door.

We can recognize the temptation, reject the lie, remember God's goodness, and run toward Jesus.

Our faith isn't in how strong we are—it is in how faithful Jesus is. 🙏

Faith That Stands when trials come. Faith That Resists when temptation comes.
James 1:16–17 — “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…”

This Sunday, we continue our journey through **James** with
Week 2: FAITH THAT RESISTS!
📖 James 1:13–18

Temptation will come—but God is not the source of it. Our desires can pull us away, but faith that works chooses to trust God’s goodness and God’s truth.

👉 Don’t blame God.
👉 Recognize the danger.
👉 Resist the pull.
👉 Trust God.

Come hear God’s Word and learn how to have a faith that stands when temptation comes!

Today we opened the book of James with “Faith That Stands” from James 1:1–12.
Life will bring trials. There will be moments when we don’t understand, moments when we need wisdom, and seasons when we feel like giving up. But James reminds us that God can use even the difficult seasons to grow our faith and produce perseverance.

Faith that stands isn’t faith that never struggles. It’s faith that keeps trusting God in the middle of the struggle.
Whatever you’re facing this week:

🙏 Ask God for wisdom.
💪 Trust Him for strength.
⏳ Let perseverance do its work.
✝️ Keep your eyes on Jesus.

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life…” — James 1:12
