Hello Familes,
We waited to give everyone plenty of time. We will be removing all Christmas items still left at the park this week. We will also remove any damaged items. We will also remove items that are against cemetery policies, including any glass.The cemetery rules have been up on the signs for 6 months, so we have tried our best to give everyone plenty of notice.
If you find a white flag at your loved ones grave, we have items boxed for you at the office. We will hold these items for 30 days at the office and then they will be stored. Please understand that we treat personal items with care and respect but most items left on graves not in the vases are at your own risk. Please don't leave irreplaceable items on markers, the lawn mowers can't see them. Please contact the office if you have any concerns. We are not removing non holiday flowers. If normal flowers are missing its most likely was the wind, we have 2 boxes of flowers that blew away off graves and the mausoleum, that are stored at maintenance we can show you during business hours if you find yours are missing. Easter Sunrise service at Lakeland Memorial Park & Mausoleum Monroe NC will happen this Sunday at 7am. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided by the Lakeland team and Dark Bay Coffee, these are free and specialty drinks will ne available for purchase. Services will be delivered by Shining Light Baptist Church. All are welcome!!

The wind has been taking flowers the past 2 weekends. We have collected as many as we could in good condition....some unfortunately ended up in the lake and had to be discarded. If you are missing flowers we have boxes of them here at the office we will hold for 2 more weeks. Please come by if you are missing flowers. Also mausoleum flowers and cups are in here too.

Lakeland Memorial Park office is closed today. But we are available through the answering service for any immediate need. We plan a delayed opening tomorrow depending on how the drop in temperature affects the roads. Stay safe out there!!
