Today we celebrated one year of ministry for our Goodtimers Singers at Jesse Helms Center in Monroe!

For the past year, our singers have had the privilege of spending time with the residents, sharing music, fellowship, Scripture, and the love of Jesus. What a blessing these sweet residents have been to our Calvary family!

Today’s Scripture was Proverbs 30:8, a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and provision.

We are thankful for this ministry and look forward to another year of serving and sharing the love of Christ!

We are praying over each child, family, teacher, and classroom as we begin this new school year. May our preschool be a place where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn, and most importantly, where they experience the love of Jesus every single day.

Preschool Ministry Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Tracy

Ms. Tracy shares:

“I love teaching preschool because I feel like I get to help build a foundation for learning, kindness, and most importantly, a relationship with Jesus. I love getting to love on these little ones, helping them feel safe and cared for, and planting little Jesus seeds in their hearts that I pray will continue to grow.

And while I’m teaching them, they are teaching me too. They remind me to slow down, find joy in the little things, laugh more, and be patient.

I feel so blessed to get to pour into these little lives and watch them grow into the people God created them to be.”

We are so thankful for Ms. Tracy and the love and care she pours into our preschoolers!

Preschool Ministry Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Debbie Keziah

Ms. Debbie shares:

“I love teaching TK at CBC Preschool because I love these children and being a part of their preschool journey. I love watching them learn, grow, and become more confident.

I love working at the preschool because God has been so wonderful to me and has blessed me in so many ways. I want to serve my Savior.

I love showing the love of Jesus to all the children who walk through the doors of our preschool and to their families.

I am truly blessed to be working at CBC Preschool.”

Each month, we will recognize a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church!

This month, we’re highlighting our Calvary Baptist Church Preschool Ministry. Our preschool team is busy preparing for another wonderful school year, and safety is always a priority.

Today, our teachers completed CPR training as part of getting ready to welcome our preschoolers back. We’re thankful for a team that works hard to create a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment for every child!
