Covenant Presbyterian Church (EPC)

Covenant Presbyterian Church (EPC) 9:00 A.M. - Sunday School
10:30 A.M. - Sunday Worship Service We are beginning a “new life” as a “new congregation” in our new denomination, the EPC.

Maybe you could say we are “a little congregation with a big heart.” Founded in 1952 as a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (US), and formerly a member of the PC(USA), Covenant became a congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) in 2010. As we undergo this reconstruction (reformation) of our congregational life:

-Our goal is to glorify God, as a congregation of Biblical faith

founded upon the gospel of Jesus Christ and built up by the Word of God written in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.

-Our calling is to live-out the historic Christian faith in our own day, following Jesus Christ who is “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

-Our mission is to make a difference for the cause of Christ’s kingdom in our local setting and around the world: by inviting others to follow Jesus, making disciples, building-up the Body of Christ, and serving the needs of a hurting community and world in Jesus’ name.

-Our hope is to see God glorified through lives changed by and committed to Jesus Christ, “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). We are a “family of faith” in which people of all ages know and love one another. We’d love to have you visit us for our Sunday School Classes (9:00 a.m.) and Worship (10:30 a.m.). We think you’d find us to be a congregation of warm fellowship, sincere faith, and a desire to grow in love for Christ and with one another. YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

A: That all the time He lived on earth, but especially at the end of His life, He bore, in body and soul, the wrath of God against the sin of the whole human race;1 in order that by His passion, as the only propitiatory sacrifice,2 He has redeemed our body and soul from everlasting damnation,3 and obtain for us the grace of God, righteousness, and eternal life.4.
