I was contacted recently about this research project regarding counseling within the Deaf community. I am sharing the full information I have in case any readers want to assist with the study. Thanks!
Hi, I’m Jennafer White. I am currently conducting a virtual research study in the area of counseling within the Deaf community under the supervision of Dr. Michelle Hollenbaugh.
This study focuses on understanding the perspectives of Deaf individuals through the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Participation in this research study will involve filling out questionnaires as well as completing an individual online interview and a virtual focus group. Participation takes around 10 minutes for the questionnaires, around 30 minutes for the individual interview, and up to an hour for the virtual focus group.
Participation in this study is voluntary.
