(1)

Our desire is to establish a thriving community of Christian believers comprised from all nations by:
* Encouraging you with love,
* Equipping you with the Word of God, and
* Empowering you to fulfill your purpose! Pastors Curt and Nedra have been married since 1990 and have two beautiful sons, Christian and Andrew Buckmire. Together, they preach and teach the principles of the life-changing mess

age of the Kingdom of God. Their heart's desire is that every believer knows what they believe, knows why they believe what they believe, and can articulate what they believe. Church Doctrine:

The Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16, I Thess. 2:13)

The Trinity
There is one God, eternally in three persons:
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:14) The Holy Spirit is a divine person. (John 14:26)

Man and His Fall
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. (Gen. 1:27, Rom. 3:23)

Redemption
Salvation is a gift of God to man, separate from works and the law is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Eph. 2:8)

Salvation
Even in our sin God loved us and sent Jesus to die for us. If we confess Christ openly and believe that Christ died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead, we can be saved. (Rom. 10:9-10)

Water Baptism & Communion
We believe in the two ordinances set forth by Jesus Christ:
Baptism by immersion in water and the celebrating of the Lord's Supper. (Acts 2:38-41; I Cor. 11:23-26)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit
It is God's will that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8; 2:4)

Tithe and Offerings
The tithe and offering belong unto God (Malachi 3:10).

Today's Scripture:
[27] However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.” [28] Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, “You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know. [29] But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”
John 7:27-29

Inspiration:
Some of the Jews of Jesus' day thought they had good reasons for rejecting Him. They thought they knew he was from Nazareth and the mere natural son of Mary and Joseph. The Bible prophesied the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem of Judah, and though Jesus had been, they did not know it. He came from the Father, but they truly in that regard "did not know from where he came. "

Prayer:
We know, O Lord, that many men will find some excuse to not believe in you. We know that Satan blinds the minds of those who believe not. And we know that you reveal yourself to your people. Help us to reason from the Scriptures and seek to convince men of your Gospel, but let us not trust in our ability to argue well but in your Spirit revealing Christ to men's hearts and minds. Amen.

Today's Scripture:
[27] All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. [28] Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:27-28

Inspiration:
To whom does Jesus give "rest?" To those who are burdened down with their load of sin and who, however much they may labor to keep God's Law, cannot do so. Jesus gives rest to the sinful soul, even the most vile of all men, if only it rests in Him.

Prayer:
We know, Lord, You have said that there is no peace for the wicked (Isaiah 48:22). And what is peace but rest to our souls? But those who cease from their own works and rest in You find true peace. You bid us be busy at work, Lord, but in the midst of activity for Your glory, You bid our hearts rest at peace on the merits of Your Son. Amen.

Today's Scripture:
[14] Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
Psalms 90:14.

Inspiration:
How do you wake up in the morning? Do you arise thanking the Lord for a new day to experience his blessings? As believers, we should be filled with gladness when we recognize God's mercy. This is a feeling that we should rejoice in day after day. We must not grow complacent to God's unfailing love. When we rise, we should honor the Lord with our rejoicing.

Prayer:
Dear God, help me to be reminded of your goodness with each sunset and sunrise. These are your creations, O Lord. Your mercy is beyond what I deserve – thank you, Lord. Your steadfast love and faithfulness cause me to rejoice and fill me with gladness. May I live this day with a glad heart so that others may be drawn to you. In Jesus' name, amen.

Sunday Service

Today's Scripture:
[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-2

Inspiration:
Since the crucifixion, Christ in a sense eradicated death and sin. Dying on the cross, we learnt that his sacrifice washed our sins away, clearing the debt, not only for the past, but also the future. Whilst death had no lasting dominion over men thanks to the resurrection, to the afterlife all God's children can expect to enter into, rejoicing in the name Jesus.

Prayer:
God my Heavenly Father, heavy is the debt we owe to you and thy Son, who paid for our sin with his blood, and who gave us hope in salvation. Praise be in Christ who showed us your word made flesh, and the flesh made holy. In my faith I shall fear no death, for it only serves to bring me closer to your love and grace wherein I may rest in joy and peace, in your loving embrace. Amen.
