Today is International Day of Charity!

Today, we celebrate the power of compassion, generosity, and neighbors helping neighbors. Charity isn’t just about giving money. It’s about giving time, resources, encouragement, dignity, and hope to someone who needs it.

At Oaks Village, we see every day how one act of kindness can make a lasting difference. A meal can remind someone they matter. A safe place to seek help in recovery can be the beginning of a new chapter. A helping hand can give someone the strength to keep going.

On this International Day of Charity, we invite you to be part of that difference. Whether you donate, volunteer, share our mission, or simply show kindness to someone in your community, your generosity matters.

Together, we can make sure our neighbors know they are not forgotten.

Give what you can. Serve where you can. Love your neighbor. And today, if you do any act of kindness, small, or large, please tag us!

✨FRIDAY QUESTION✨

It’s Friday, so let’s try to spread a little kindness!

If you can do ONE thing today to make someone’s day better, would you do it?

Tell us in the comments or tag us in your Friday Kindness!

Maybe it’s:
Buying someone a coffee
Making a donation to a worthy cause
Sending an encouraging text
Sharing a meal
Helping a neighbor
Simply reminding someone they matter

There’s no act of kindness too small. Sometimes the smallest gesture can mean the most to someone who is having a hard day.

Let’s fill the comments with ideas and ACTION and inspire each other!
