A PRAYER TO NOT LOOSE HEART

God, please help me to not lose heart. When I look at the world around me, it's easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged. When that happens, I will remember to take heart—because You are renewing me. Help me to recall all the ways You are at work in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

II Corinthians 4:16 NKJV
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

Immanuel, be with me through the ups and downs of this year. Fill me with your Spirit, so my friends, family, and even strangers become aware of your love. When I feel weak, may your joy be my strength. When I feel anxious, give me your peace. When I feel unloved, surround me with your love. Each day, give me eyes to see and ears to hear your voice, and courage to follow wherever you lead.

"God, thank You for the new year You've given us. I don't want the next 365 days to slip away from me - I want to live every day with a purpose! Please help me to grow closer to You in every way. This year, everything I have and everything I am is Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen."

From What are you brining to the party ice breaker, name that tune, trivia games, cup side down and ugly and cutest shirt contest.... we had fun. We decided to adopt the 1st graders at Madison James Foster Elementary School and provided them with backpacks and school supplies. We pray Principal Gary, his students, faculty and staff have a successful school year. We look forward to doing more things with and for the MJF family. Thank you U Can Trust Me for always coming through.
