10/14/2026
It is finished! In his name!
I have been to the Red Sea, literally in 2019, seeing all the people filing into the Monroe City Hall Chamber was the type of Spirit that moved that day thousands of years ago, I fealt it in 2019, and I felt and saw it move last on Tuesday, October 13, 2026!
(7 years later).
The Historic Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Development has been APPROVED to move through the other processes and over to the other side … and all of us get to roll away a stone of our own, and remember what happened here on this day, in the City of Monroe, on a Hill, we all stood on, recommitting to God, Community, Families, and generations following!
What, “A Miracle on 34” Townhomes! And a Miracle on our Street!
Voting for this action were City Council Members: Mayor Pro Tem Surluta Anthony, Franco McGhee, and James Kerr!
Insight: During the deliberations we discovered that we didn’t need to be there at all… the HEMBC could have executed the plan “by right!”
Communication is paramount in these times… but God got the victory out of this exercise of (7+ acres!)
We are all praying for Council Member Julie Thompson who had a family emergency … pray for her and her family with the same Spirit who moved with her in her absence!
Remember the name Richard Long, City Attorney of Monroe who shook the foundation and brought focus and understanding to a complicated issue! And City Manager Mark Watson kept the main thing the main thing! God moved and made both chamber rooms as one!
The building could only hold 99!
Think about that for a moment!
This proves that he is the One who nobody saw! Because he needed No Seat! The entire night was showing me the clues… I was moved and did my part, as did Bishop Osco E.
Gardin, Jr., Pastor and Lady Latricia Gardin was there to the end!
To all those who spoke, Bishop Gardin, The senior man who used bishop’s seat, Sis. Doreen Green (the New Yorker), Susan Sganga, Elder Edwin Elam, Ralph Serrapica (Waxhaw), and (1) un-named detractor! (7 people spoke)
HEMBC Members: Bless these names mentioned here and tell the story of what God did here on October 13, 2026 it was a 6’O’clock meeting (meaningful in itself).
Remember God rolled away the stones again and His will was done for generations following!
I will always stop every year 10/13 @ 6pm EST for the rest of my life on this day and hour for a moment of silence and know that there is God that filled the room!
Thank you Bishop Osco E. Gardin, Jr.,
for your leadership and vision!
The Historic Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church has 143 Years of continuance Service to the City of Monroe Community!

* This is in the City of Monroe, NC - the first city of Union County to exercise an initiative that fits the New: “21st Century Road to Housing Act” Remember the bipartisan bill that the Executive Branch did not sign and it became law, this fits that narrative for all people
