❤️ Happy Pastor Appreciation! 🙏

Today, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for our Pastor Joshua Benish and the many ways he faithfully serves our congregation and our Lord.

Being a pastor is so much more than standing in the pulpit on Sunday mornings. It’s faithfully proclaiming God’s Word, administering His Sacraments, offering comfort in times of sorrow, celebrating with us in times of joy, praying for our church family, and walking alongside us through all the seasons of life.

As our pastor, your commitment to faithfully teaching the truth of Scripture and pointing us to the saving grace of Jesus Christ is a blessing beyond measure. Thank you for reminding us of God’s promises, encouraging us in our faith, and continually directing our hearts to the cross and the hope we have in Christ.

We know that the calling of a pastor comes with responsibilities and challenges that many may never see. Please know that your dedication, prayers, compassion, and faithful service do not go unnoticed. The seeds of faith you plant through God’s Word make an eternal difference, even in ways you may never fully realize this side of heaven.

We are grateful that God has called you to serve our congregation, and we thank Him for the blessing you are to our church family.

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season.” — 2 Timothy 4:2

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, sustain you in your calling, fill you with His peace, and remind you daily that your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

This is a great interview! I recommend all to click below (or above) and give it a listen. Pastor Wolfmueller does a marvelous job of talking about the joy and the comfort we Christians have in Christ. That the promises of God, incredible wonderful promises of God are for me, for you, and we wouldn't even believe them unless they were written down for us!

Especially as we prepare to celebrate the Reformation this coming Sunday, this is a must watch!

Today we discuss the words from St. Paul in his letter to the Romans which declare that we are justified - declared righteous in God's sight and saved - by the redemption of Jesus Christ on the cross (Rom. 3:19-28). Not only is this the heart of the Gospel, but the heart of the Reformation, which the Lord used, through Martin Luther and others, to return the Church back to Christ - to His Word and Gospel.
