Dr. Sherita Walker Williams, Pastor The first church service was held May 31, 1991 at her home. In attendance that night were 2 adults and 8 children. Church service continued at her home for approximately 2 months. Then the Lord made a way out of no way and blessed her

with a building and a understanding landlord. The first meeting held in the church building was August 9, 1991 and since that time God has richly blessed the church. Many auxiliaries has flourished from the ministry such as:
Hungry and Needy Program
T.V. Ministry
Sunday School
Telephone Ministry
Bible Training Ministry
Adult and Youth Chior
Usher-board
Young People For Christ
Missing In Action Program
Refuge Praise Dancers
New Members Classes
Youth are Back, Large and In Charge

Remember, Psalm :1 "Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that built it". At Refuge Healing Ministry Church, we labor not in vain because TRULY GOD, did build this house!

Today we celebrate YOU! Thank you for loving us, praying for us, pushing us, and continuing to pour into God’s people. Your labor, your heart, and your YES do not go unnoticed. 🙌🏾

Something happens when we come together with expectation; ready to worship, ready to receive, and ready to hear what God has to say.
