🔥 This Sunday is Pentecost! 🔥

Pentecost is the day we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, as told in Acts 2. It is often called the “birthday of the Church,” because after receiving the Holy Spirit, the disciples boldly went out to share the Gospel with the world.

We celebrate Pentecost because it reminds us that God did not leave His people alone — the Holy Spirit still guides, strengthens, comforts, and transforms us today.

❤️ Why is the color red?
Red symbolizes the fire of the Holy Spirit, recalling the “tongues of fire” that appeared over the Apostles at Pentecost. It also represents boldness, zeal, and the life-giving power of God working through His Church.

Come worship with us as we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the life of the Church! 🔥🕊️

☕ Anglican Poll Time! ⛪

What’s the most “Anglican” thing about you? 😄

🔘 I instinctively say “And with your spirit"
🔘 Coffee hour is my favorite ministry
🔘 I have a favorite prayer book edition
🔘 I bow every time I pass the altar
🔘 I still don’t fully understand the church calendar

Vote below and defend your answer in the comments 👀 (harmless fun, not a theological debate 🤣)

“Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ, and you will find Him, and with everything else thrown in."”
— C.S. Lewis

There are seasons when life feels heavy, unclear, or just plain tiring. In those moments, the invitation of Christ remains simple and steady: come and seek Him.

You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to have perfect words or perfect faith. Just come as you are.

In worship, in prayer, and in the quiet of your own heart, He meets us with grace that is patient, kind, and always enough.

We would love for you to join us this Sunday. There is a place for you here—at the table, in the prayers, and in the life of the Church.

As the day comes to a close, may the peace of Christ guard your hearts and minds tonight.

“O Lord, support us all the day long of this troubled life, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in your mercy grant us safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

— 2019 ACNA Book of Common Prayer

We also invite you to join us tomorrow at 12:15pm for our Midweek Eucharist at All Saints Anglican Church.

Come in the middle of the week to pray, receive the Sacrament, and rest in the presence of God. All are welcome.

Fr. Jeramy will be out of the office May 11–12 attending a conference in the DFW area. If you have a pastoral need, prayer request, or emergency, he will still be available by phone if needed.

He will return for Noon Day Eucharist Service on Wednesday, May 13 at 12:15 PM. All are welcome to join us for this brief time of prayer and peace in the middle of the week.

Please keep Fr. Jeramy in your prayers as he travels:

“O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: Preserve those who travel; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey’s end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

Almighty God, who after the creation of the world rested from all your works and sanctified a day of rest for all your creatures: Grant that we, putting away all earthly anxieties, may be duly prepared for the service of your sanctuary, and that our rest here upon earth may be a preparation for the eternal rest promised to your people in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
