The first weekend of each month we have a Potluck that all are welcome to join as well as a monthly Youth Day. a Bible Centered Church with people from many different backgrounds. Our services are acapella based and we observe the Lord's Supper weekly. Classes are available for all ages. Our prayer is for you to find a church family here in the heart of Union County. If you are passing through we would pray that we become a stop on your travels. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the church family.

✝️ Faith Is Formed Daily

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children...”
— Deuteronomy 6:6–7

Biblical parenting is not limited to a weekly church service or occasional family devotion. It is a continual process of spiritual formation.

God's instruction was clear: teach His Word throughout the ordinary moments of life—at home, on the road, in the morning, and in the evening.

If we do not teach our children how to follow Jesus, the world will gladly teach them how to live without Him.

May our homes be places where faith is lived, taught, and passed on each day.

Training with Intention

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
> — Proverbs 22:6

Sunday's lesson reminded us that children do not naturally drift toward godliness. Faith, character, and biblical values must be intentionally taught and modeled.

When parents are passive, culture often becomes the loudest voice in a child's life. But God has entrusted parents and families with the responsibility of guiding the next generation toward Him.

As we continue our series At Home With God, may we be intentional about planting seeds of faith that will bear fruit for years to come.

Last week we talked about breaking dysfunction. This week we continue to build upon that by focusing on an important role in our families and in the church... Raising the next generation. We will look at what scripture tells us about this topic and some practical things we can do in our homes and churches to raise up the next generations.

✝️ Pursuing Peace in the Home

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…”
> — Colossians 3:15

Peace does not happen automatically—it must be chosen and pursued.

Sunday’s sermon challenged us to allow the peace of Christ to guide the atmosphere and direction of our homes. In a world filled with stress, anger, and division, Christian homes should be places where God’s peace is evident.

As we go through this week, may we ask ourselves:
Are our words, attitudes, and actions building peace within our homes?

Let the peace of Christ rule.

✝️ Forgiveness Is Essential

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
— Colossians 3:13

Every home will experience mistakes, misunderstandings, and hurt feelings. That is why forgiveness is essential.

God’s Word reminds us that forgiveness is not optional for the follower of Christ. We forgive because we have been forgiven by the Lord.

Breaking cycles of dysfunction begins when grace replaces bitterness and forgiveness replaces resentment.

May our homes reflect the mercy that God has shown to us.

✝️ Choosing Godly Character Daily

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.”
— Colossians 3:12

Sunday’s lesson reminded us that healthy, Christ-centered homes are not built accidentally. Godly character must be intentionally practiced each day.

Compassion, kindness, humility, patience—these qualities do not simply appear in difficult moments. They are developed daily as we walk with God.

As we continue our series At Home With God, may we intentionally “put on” the character of Christ in our homes this week.

This week is our third lesson from the series, "At Home With God". You may have grown up in a home filled with dysfunction or currently live in a home that if we are honest, has quite a bit of dysfunction and craziness to it.

It doesn't have to be that way. What happens when God is the center of our homes? It begins to heal the dysfunction and build a healthier home.

Bible Classes for all ages at 10 am with Steve Smith teaching the auditorium class.
Worship at 11 am with our Minister Mark preaching.

See you there! We have a chair for you!
