🌺 HUGE LUAU KICKOFF LAST NIGHT!

What a great way to start our new youth year! We had 30 students join us for our Luau Kickoff!

We enjoyed a full taco bar, played some fun luau games, and spent plenty of time laughing and having fun together.

Instead of our traditional lesson, we spent the evening talking about OUR youth group — what we want it to look like, our goals and vision, our plans for the year ahead, and how each student has a part in making our youth group a place where we can grow together.

There’s been lots going on behind the scenes as we get ready for a new church year, and we’re excited to kick off another year of Antioch Youth!

TOMORROW:

Youth Parent Meeting | 4 PM
Parents of 6th–12th graders, join us in the New Fellowship Hall to learn more about our youth ministry, plans for the year ahead, and ways we can partner together.

All 6th–12th graders are invited for dinner, fellowship, devotion, games, and plenty of fun as we kick off the 2026–2027 year!

We had a blast at Youth this past Sunday! 🙌

We played kickball, enjoyed sno cones, and wrapped up our Back to School series with “Don’t Lose Your Faith in the Hallway.”

As our students head back to school, we challenged them to trust God in every area of their lives, stand firm in their faith, and stand for truth—even when it isn’t easy.

Last night at Antioch Youth! ☀️

It was HOT outside, so we took the fun indoors! We spent the evening playing Guess Who?, UNO, KerPlunk, and plenty of other games after enjoying breakfast for dinner! 🥞🍳

We also continued our Back to School Series with a lesson on friendship—choosing our friends wisely, understanding the influence they have on us, and learning how we can be good, Christ-like friends to others.

So thankful for another Sunday night of food, fellowship, fun, and growing together in our faith! 🙌

What a great night at Youth Group! 🎓

This past Sunday night we had the opportunity to celebrate our seniors. We are so proud of each of them and are praying that they will always keep the Lord first in their lives. We can’t wait to see where life takes them and all that God has in store for their future!

We continued our Back to School Series by talking about decisions and making good choices. We discussed who gets to write the story of our lives and the importance of letting God be the One who leads our story. When we put Him first, He can guide our choices and direct our path. 📖

And of course, we had plenty of fun with Field Day! Things got pretty competitive, but there was lots of laughter, and we love getting to spend time together. ❤️

We’re so thankful for our students and the time we get to share together each Sunday night.

We’ve had SO much fun these past few weeks! 🙌

💦 Two weeks ago, we took on the young adults Sunday School class in a Slip ’N Slide Kickball showdown! Let’s just say… they beat us pretty badly 😂 BUT we had an absolute blast! We also had a great lesson from Chris Simpson on how sin can be a slippery slope—a fun night with a meaningful message!

📚 Last week, we kicked off our Back to School Series! We talked about all the noise that comes with heading back to school—the many voices, opinions, pressures, and distractions students hear every day—and how important it is to listen to God’s truth above all the noise. We had a blast playing Jenga and volleyball, too! 🏐

🎓 TONIGHT, we’re SO excited to celebrate our students who are graduating from youth at the end of this month! ❤️ We’ll continue our Back to School Series as we talk about making Godly choices.

And because it’s youth… we’re also having FIELD DAY! 😎💦

👉 Come ready to have fun—and wear something you don’t mind getting wet!

Our youth just returned from an incredible week serving in West Virginia, and our hearts are full. ❤️

This week, our students stepped outside of their comfort zones and into opportunities to love others well. They served through food distribution, spending time with senior adults, painting homes, delivering furniture, helping with VBS, and so much more. Every act of service was a reminder that God can use willing hearts to make a lasting impact.

And of course, it wasn't all work! We made unforgettable memories together—laughing and hanging out in our big cabin, enjoying slushies, playing games, and building friendships with the entire mission team. These moments of fun and fellowship made the week even more special.

We're so thankful for each student who said "yes" to serving, for the relationships built, and for the lives that were touched—both those we served and our own. We can't wait to see how God continues to use this group to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
