❤️🖤💚 Happy Juneteenth❤️🖤💚

Today we celebrate freedom, faith, and the resilience of a people who never stopped believing that better days were ahead.

Juneteenth reminds us that our story is one of hope, perseverance, and God's faithfulness. Through every generation, God has sustained us, strengthened us, and brought us this far.

As we celebrate our heritage and culture, may we also recommit ourselves to building communities where love is lived, justice is pursued, and hope is shared.

We honor those who came before us, celebrate where we are, and trust God for where He is leading us.

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion." — Philippians 1:6

Happy Juneteenth! May we continue to walk in freedom, live with purpose, and tell the story of God's goodness for generations to come. ✊🏾

🔥 FIRST POINT: THE TEST IS CONFIRMATION, NOT PUNISHMENT 🔥

One of the biggest mistakes we make is assuming every struggle means God is upset with us.

But in Matthew 4, Jesus wasn't led into the wilderness by the devil.

He was led there by the Spirit.

Let that sink in.

The wilderness wasn't punishment.
The wilderness was preparation.

Somebody at The Springs needed this reminder:

➡️ The pressure doesn't mean God left you.
➡️ The struggle doesn't mean you've failed.
➡️ The darkness doesn't mean God isn't working.

In fact, some tests show up because God is developing something in you for your next season.

Just like a picture develops in the darkroom, sometimes God does His best work in the places we can't fully see.

Don't quit because it's difficult.
Don't walk away because it's uncomfortable.

God may be using this season to prepare you for what He promised.

🙌🏾 The test isn't proof that God has forgotten you.
🙌🏾 The test may be proof that God is working on you.

Tell somebody in the comments:

**"It's only a test."**

🚨 IT'S ONLY A TEST 🚨

At The Springs, we believe every wilderness season has a purpose.

In Matthew 4, before Jesus ever stepped into His public ministry, He first faced a test. Not because God had abandoned Him—but because God was preparing Him.

Somebody needs to hear this today:

➡️ The pressure isn't punishment.
➡️ The struggle isn't proof that God left.
➡️ The wilderness isn't your destination.

The enemy always attacks what God has already spoken over your life. If he can make you question your identity, he'll try to stop your destiny.

But when you know who God says you are, you don't have to prove yourself to anybody.

The very thing you've been praying away may be the very thing God is using to develop you, strengthen you, and prepare you for what's next.

Don't quit.
Don't panic.
Don't lose heart.

The test comes first.
Then comes the breakthrough.

The wilderness comes first.
Then comes the promotion.

🙌🏾 The test is temporary, but God's purpose is eternal.

If you're walking through a test right now, drop a 🙌🏾 in the comments and remind somebody else:

**"It's only a test."**

🚨 IT'S ONLY A TEST 🚨

Some of us have been staring at the test so long that we've forgotten there's a purpose behind it.

The pressure.
The waiting.
The disappointment.
The wilderness.

What if the thing you've been asking God to remove is actually the very thing He's using to prepare you for your next season?

Before Jesus ever preached a sermon, healed the sick, or changed the world, He had to pass a test in the wilderness. The test wasn't punishment—it was preparation.

🔥 The test is confirmation, not punishment.
🔥 The enemy attacks what God just spoke.
🔥 The test is producing elevation.

The enemy sees what God is about to do before you do. That's why the battle has been so intense. But don't quit in the wilderness. Don't lose heart under the pressure.

God isn't trying to break you.
He's preparing you.

The test is temporary, but the purpose is eternal.

If you're walking through a difficult season right now, remember this:

🙌🏾 It's only a test.
🙌🏾 God is still with you.
🙌🏾 Your next chapter is on the other side.

Last week, Pastor Sellers took a moment to simply listen to our youth. One of the things they shared was that they are looking for community, connection, and a safe place to belong.

This week, we got to see that community in action.

One of our youth,Ja'Naye, invited two of her friends to church, and during youth church Jasmine and Chesney accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!🙌🏾❤️

Y'all, this is what it's all about.

Not just filling seats, but changing lives.
Not just attending church, but bringing others to Jesus.
Not just talking about community, but creating it.

We are so proud of Ja'Naye for sharing her faith and inviting her friends, and we celebrate Jasmine and Chesney for taking this incredible step in their walk with Christ. And we are so proud of Sis. Aamari Na'shay Chambers and the team for their commitment to our youth.

Family, help us welcome and celebrate these two young ladies! Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we! 🎉🙌🏾💜
