"Prayer does not just fit us for greater work. Prayer is the greater work."

We can't all get on a plane. We can't all learn the language, plant the church, or sit at the table in a country we may never visit.

But we can pray. And prayer isn't the consolation prize for the people who stay behind — it's the work itself, happening in real time, for real people, in real places.

Here's what we know to be true: the nations were never a separate mission from what God started doing in Monroe. What grew here didn't stay here — because a changed heart doesn't stay contained to one zip code. That's still true, even when the person you're praying for is 6,000 miles away and you'll never meet them.

So what's the most strategic thing you can do for a nation you may never set foot in? Probably this.

On August 20th, we're setting aside time to do exactly that — pray for the nations, by name, together.

From the very beginning, Grace Monroe's heart has been to invest in the next generation — through things like our SDP (Summer Discipleship Project) and our Residency Program .

Katja came to Monroe the summer after her sophomore year of college for SDP, brand new in her faith and looking for real Christian community. Chace found his way here through our residency program, after a door closed at Grace Athens and God opened one at Monroe instead.

Today, they lead a high school house group together.

John Meyne did SDP the summer after he graduated college. That season of discipleship shaped him so deeply that he and his wife Bailey went on to plant Good Soil Church in Ogden, Utah — welcoming 470 people on their very first Sunday.

Three different paths. One common thread: a season of being poured into so they could go pour into others.

That's the heart behind SDP and our residency — still bearing fruit today. 🌱

100 Days of Prayer 🙏
We're in a season of asking God one simple question: what do You want to do on our campus over the next 100 days? Not what we want — what He wants. Whatever benefits our congregation and the community around us, that's what we're praying for.

Day 31
Today we're praying for Table Coffee — that it would be more than a coffee shop. A front door. A place where people walk in for coffee and walk out having encountered God's love. And a really good cup of coffee.

"Lord, make Table Coffee a threshold — where every person who walks through feels seen, welcomed, and loved."

Freestyle Camp was one for the books. ❤️‍🔥

This weekend, 3 students accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and we witnessed countless conversations, moments of worship, and students taking steps toward Him.

We believe God is pursuing the next generation, and this weekend was a beautiful reminder that students are hungry to know Jesus.
