So, it has been 4 years since the last mission trip, 4 years of waiting, contemplating, looking at the effects that c*vid has had on missions, people, travel, the work. I have been asked to go to Reynosa to help with some repairs on Torre Fuerte. Certainly, there are some financial needs that need to be met. If you are led to give financial support, you can message me with questions. Prayers are definitely appreciated.

Dear Friends, Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays were filled with joy and the peace that only Christ can bring.
I wanted to share a couple of things with you all. I have spent the couple of years graduating from college and building a practice, cultivating a solid marriage, and seeking God for some direction in my life. It has been a wonderful time as well as a time of reflection.
One of the things that I have been reflecting on is the 16 plus years of mission work that I spent in Mexico building relationships, houses, and churches. As many know, the work was put on hold with the death of one of my dearest friends, Gilberto Chaverri, who lost the battle with cancer only to be in the presence of the Father. He was one of the truest friends and godly men that I have ever met or had the good fortune to work with in Mexico. My love for him is undying as well as my respect for everything that he taught me as a missionary.
Recently, I was contacted by Matt Sears (longtime friend and co-missionary with Mind Altering Love Ministry) and asked if I wanted to be a part of a new project that is in the making, to go to Mexico and build a church in one week from the ground up. The church is in a Colonia outside of Reynosa, MX and is a memorial church dedicated to another gentleman who passed away and donated the property for this purpose. There is no other church in this colonia; so, this is a fantastic way to honor this man’s wishes for his property and to bring a foundation into this area for people to hear the gospel.
The property is scheduled to be cleared on Jan 18th, with a foundation being poured the week following. The building is approximately 20 x 36. The cost of the building is $7500.00, complete. I am trying to raise $2000.00 to cover my expenses and a portion of the building supplies. This will be the 27th structure built for which I have been a part. I am excited to renew my part of this work and hope that you will partner with me to get this church built, as we continue to create spaces for people to gather, fellowship in their communities and worship God.

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I want to share how much we have appreciated your support over the past 10 years with this ministry. Your prayers and financial support have helped share the message of Christ in many ways here in Georgia and the Atlanta/Monroe area. We have also been able to assist in building approximately 26 churches, homes, additions, etc. to keep the Gospel continually shared throughout our country and the country of Mexico.
Recently, there have been some things that have come up that call for me to go to Mexico. I really need your help now. I need to raise approximately 1000 dollars in the next few days to go there and visit with a person who has been instrumental in making our ministry thrive there. He has some health issues that are very grave in nature. This visit is the greatest form of ministry, because it is a personal connection. You see, it has never really been about churches, houses, and structures; it has always been about the relationships. God has blessed me with great relationships with this connection.
