The final whistle has blown on Day 3 of Sports Camp 2026, and it has been our best day yet!

Today, campers worked on passing, ball control, shooting technique, heading, and other fundamental soccer skills. Throughout the day, they learned that just as small adjustments can improve their game and help them reach their goals, God knows us perfectly and knows the changes we need in our lives.

There are only two days left, but it's not too late to join the fun! Registration begins at 8:15 AM, and camp starts at 9:00 AM each day.

The final whistle has blown on Day 2 of Sports Camp!

Today was all about basketball as campers worked on dribbling, driving to the basket, crossovers, and layups. They even got a chance to put their skills into action with a scrimmage against the coaches as they prepare for Friday's much-anticipated Camper vs. Coaches Showdown!

Throughout the day, we also learned important biblical principles about sportsmanship and teamwork, focusing on what it means to love others as ourselves.

Today, campers worked on soccer skills, sharpening their agility, aim, and footwork. Along the way, we learned that playing by the rules shows a love for the game. More importantly, we considered that when we obey God's commands, we demonstrate our love for Him.

❓ Is Sports Camp just for kids interested in sports?

Not at all! While Sports Camp includes sports instruction and activities, the games and drills are designed much like the PE activities children enjoy at school or the fun group activities found at youth camps.

Our camp is geared toward elementary-age children of all skill levels and abilities, with an emphasis on participation, encouragement, teamwork, and fun.

Sports Camp also includes many of the traditional elements families appreciate about Vacation Bible School. Each day features:

💬 Devotional challenges
🧠 Memory verses
🏅 Awards
🙌 Engaging opportunities to learn biblical truth

🏃 TEAM 45 is part of Sports Camp at First Baptist Monroe! ⚽🏀

Designed especially for ages 4–5, Team 45 is a fun, high-energy preschool program running alongside our soccer and basketball camps. Children will be introduced to the basic movements and skills used in sports through games, music, rhythm, and hands-on activities.

Throughout the week, campers will learn:
✅ Running, jumping, hopping, and skipping
✅ Throwing, catching, kicking, and bouncing
✅ Coordination, movement, and teamwork
✅ Rhythm and motion through music and activities

The week also includes special sports activity days featuring:
