Our Story

Welcome! Whether you are new to the area or just visiting, we know that attending a new church can be intimidating. We're here to make your experience as pleasant and warm as possible. We have a 'come as you are' dress code and encourage you to attend service in whatever is most comfortable for you. A greeter will welcome you in the foyer when you enter the building. Sunday worship service starts at 10:15 a.m. The first Sunday of the month we celebrate the Lord's Supper. Our worship music includes both contemporary and traditional songs. Communion Sunday is generally dedicated to conventional hymns while the other Sundays offer a more modern style of music. Sunday school classes begin at 9:00 a.m. for both adults and children. Children ages 2-5 may attend Children's Church which is dismissed just prior to the sermon. Nursery is provided for babies and toddlers up to age 2 during both Sunday School and worship service.

In the power of the Holy Spirit, in obedience to the Word of God, and in devotion to one another, Monona Oaks Community Church purposes to worship God and glorify Him by making disciples who will: make Jesus Christ known, help believers grow, and serve our world as salt and light.
