He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord!
- Isaiah 26:3

Turn your thoughts to the Lord often!

Training our thoughts can be tough, since it is one of the most common places Satan likes to attack. Even though this is challenging, the positive outcome is worth it!

The more you train your thoughts on the Lord, the more peace you will have. When you think upon the Lord and His goodness, the affections of your heart will also begin to turn towards Him.

Whenever you experience something good, thank the Lord for it.

Even the small, everyday things of life are worth thanking Him for. Think of the Lord when you see the sunset and sunrise. Think of the Lord when you see the flowers in bloom that He sends for you every spring season. Think of and thank the Lord for each meal and for His provision of a house. Think of and thank the Lord for the joy you receive from the friends and family He’s placed in your life.

Intentionally placing little reminders around your house and living space can also help. Write scriptures on sticky notes and place them on your mirror, in the car, or at your desk! Play worship music in the background as you cook meals or work on your daily chores.

Even unpleasant and painful moments of our day can point our attention back to our Savior, reminding us of how much we need Him.

Today, how can you be intentional in turning your thoughts towards God more? What are some creative ways you can do this?

The more we are able to turn our thoughts to the Lord, the more we will become aware of His presence and how close He really is to us, enabling us to experience His perfect peace!

With Love,
Cathy B.

When a couple puts God first, they build their relationship on a foundation that does not change.

A couple who seeks God first will pray together before making important decisions.

They will run to God before running away from each other.

They will seek biblical wisdom before following their emotions.

They will choose forgiveness over bitterness, humility over pride, and obedience over compromise.

A God-centered relationship does not mean there will be no problems.

It means that when problems come, they face them with Christ at the center.

The strongest couples are not those who never struggle.

They are those who continue seeking God together through every season of life.

If you want a healthy relationship, don’t just look for someone who loves you.

Look for someone who loves God more than they love you.

Because when two people pursue Christ, they naturally grow closer to one another.

The best thing a couple can do for their relationship is to keep God at the center of it. ❤️

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33

The LORD is My Helper
📖 Hebrews 13:4–8

In this passage, believers are encouraged to honor marriage, live free from the love of money, and place their confidence in God's unfailing presence. These instructions touch some of the most important areas of life: relationships, possessions, and trust.

The passage reminds us that marriage is a sacred gift from God and should be treated with honor, faithfulness, and purity. It also warns against allowing the pursuit of money to become the focus of our lives. Material possessions can never provide the security that only God can give.

Instead of being consumed by what we lack, we are called to be content because God has promised, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." This assurance gives us confidence in every season of life. Whether in abundance or need, success or difficulty, God remains present and faithful.

The passage concludes with one of the most comforting truths in Scripture: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Human circumstances change, people change, and cultures change, but our Savior remains unchanging in His character, power, and promises.

May we honor God in our relationships, trust Him with our needs, and find lasting security in the unchanging Christ.
