Enemies of growing in your faith in God:
1-Malnutrition: 75% of the population of the US read their Bible once a week or less.
2-Lack of exercise: Faith is an action word. Just like your muscles, if you don't exercise, it will atrophy. Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only. James 1:22
3-Disease: This can be external sources that pollute your spirit by what you allow in or by internal factors such as unforgiveness, greed and pride.
4-Heredity: Traditions handed down by generations of well-meaning people who lived under different circumstances that affected their actions. Know the why in scripture!
5-Lack of rest: 24/7 action is not God's plan. Why do we think we can get away without resting physically and also resting in God spiritually? Stop micromanaging and allow God to move!
