When Meredith’s team saw Ahmed again, they were stunned. He had already come to faith simply by reading the Bible they gave him. A year later he was baptized—and had helped baptize 24 others.

During the Syrian uprising, Ahmed was forced to do things he knew were wrong. After tragedy struck his family, he and his wife fled to another country where someone shared a story about Jesus. That story was the beginning of something neither of them expected.
