While Pastor Rhodes is just outside Silver City, NM Gila Christian Ranch with a few of our own campers, the ministry at Bethel continues!

Tomorrow evening at 6:30p, Pastor Emeritus Cox will be leading our midweek prayer service. Come out, join with the others who will be there, and please continue to pray for God to work and the Holy Spirit to meet with the children and staff at camp in a special way.

This month's teen class raffle winner, Harper Graham, received a $25 gift card to HTeaO. She earned tickets by attending Sunday School, bringing her Bible to class, and inviting friends. If you see her, please extend your congratulations, and consider joining us. We are BLAST! (Building Lives Around Sound Truth!)

Our teenagers and college-aged students had a fantastic experience last Saturday in our gym, engaging in basketball, eating, and inquiring with the preacher. Pastor Rhodes facilitated a devotional and inspired us with scripture. We welcomed 15 attendees.

We are having a youth night tomorrow evening! Teens through College age, you are invited to the Bethel Gym for pizza, games, a short devotional, and a chance to ask Pastor Rhodes any Biblical worldview question that you want. Bible questions, apologetics, issues in culture; no relevant question is off the table.

Starts at 6p, expecting to wrap up before 9. Bring yourself, a friend, and your Bible if you have it. Message Paul & Sherry Hunter or Pastor Justin if you have any questions. Come on out!

Psalm 119 has 176 verses and is broken into 22 sections, one for each character in the Hebrew alphabet. Each line of poetry, each verse, begins WITH the character corresponding to its section. What is the purpose of this incredible work? To elevate the word of God above all else in the life of the believer.

Last Wednesday, we looked at a selection from each character section to see how God describes His own word and how His followers should view it.

At 6:30p tomorrow night, we will gather again to look at the Bible, and to pray to the God of eternity. Come join us!
