God loves you, Pastor Jim, and so do we!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Sands family's farewell luncheon for helping to give Pastor Jim, Kristen, Ryan, and Molly a warm and celebratory sendoff!

Pastor Dave Wilson, Denny Houser, and Janet Cox shared stories and remarks. Then it was Pastor Jim's turn to offer his appreciation to the people of Monaca UMC and Aliquippa First UMCs, especially lifting up the lay leaders, organists, and secretaries of the congregations, as well as the many others who have supported his ministry through the years.

Thanks to Roberta Houser, Vicki Kane, Mary Margaret Corless, Cheryl Selepec, Judy Fitzgerald, Gretchen Harich, Eileen Tritt, Denny Houser, Mike McCullough, and Mark McCullough for their dedication in planning and working so hard to make this event a lovely farewell for the Sands family.

All the best to the Sands family as they move and settle into their new home!

The brightest week of the year has begun!

VBS at Monaca UMC got underway today with music, skits, crafts, games, and more — all shining a light on who Jesus really is!

Free and open to kids and teens entering ANY grade level!

We'll be shining a light on who Jesus really is through skits, games, crafts, and more!!

Prayers for all in attendance!

Today's the day! WPA's 2026 Annual Conference registration opens at 1 PM today, and Laity and Clergy Sessions begin at 9AM tomorrow morning. We're putting the finishing touches on our holy conferencing space at PennWest California, and looking forward to greeting attendees arriving in a few short hours.

SING TO THE LORD A NEW SONG

Our heartfelt thanks to Judy Yester and David Hodge for providing special music at Monaca UMC's worship service yesterday!

Judy filled in for our regular organist, Norma Coast, during Norma's much-needed time off.

Judy then accompanied David Hodge, as he sang a beautiful rendition of "Beneath the Cross of Jesus."

What a special treat!

Last month, our curio honored the mothers of our congregation (pictured). This month, it's the dads' turn!

Please bring in a photo of a dad from your family (including yourself, if you're a dad!) so Gretchen Brubaker Harich and Joanne Carey Ziegler can turn the curio into a Father's Day display!
