Thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday 8/16 for 1st United Methodist Church of Aliquippa and Monaca United Methodist Church's annual outdoor worship service and picnic!

The combination of sunshine, food, and fellowship was wonderful!

We at Habitat for Humanity wanted to share how Faith in Action provide rides, at no cost, to Beaver County seniors over 60, who need rides within the county to medical appointments.

INSTRUCTIONS: You must give 2 weeks prior notice for a ride. Before calling, please identify which zone you live in.

Zone 1 - Beaver, Brighton Twp, Midland, Western Beaver
Zone 2 - Ambridge, Baden, Conway, Freedom
Zone 3 - Beaver Falls, Big Beaver, Chippewa, Darlington, New Brighton, Patterson, Rochester
Zone 4 - Aliquippa, Center, Hopewell, Monaca, Raccoon

📝SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE 📓🖊

Help make a great start to the school year for our local teachers and students!

The Eves Women’s Group is collecting school supplies again this year for all grades, K-12. Take advantage of the sales going on right now!

Needed items include: crayons, glue sticks, pens, pencils, highlighters, notebooks, construction paper, card stock, and folders. A full list of items requested from the different schools is available in the church lobby.

Items that the teachers often purchase out of pocket for the classroom, such as individual tissue boxes and wipes, are needed as well!

Please bring your donations to the church by Thursday, August 20th.

The first day of school for Central Valley is August 26th!

Just a reminder we will be worshipping at John A. Antoline Memorial Park at 11am on Sunday, instead of in the sanctuary. After this brief outdoor worship service, stay for picnic fun!

Please join us in praying for the family and loved ones of Charles Werthman, who passed away on August 6, 2026.

As his obituary says, he "lived a life marked by devotion to family, service to country, and steadfast ties to his community." He was a longtime member of Monaca UMC and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

There will be an American Red Cross blood drive at the First United Methodist Church in Aliquippa on August 7th from 11:30am-5pm. If you are willing and able, please make an appointment.
