Last evening, Gib McCracken and George Palombo were ordained and installed as elders for River Valley. They join our existing teaching and ruling elders in shepherding our ever-growing congregation.

Please pray for wisdom for these men as they take on the weight of eldership.

Join with River Valley this Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ with the message "Life Through Death" from Pastor Ian Gillies. We will also be witnessing a special baptism of the Gillies family's newborn daughter, Avonlea.

Please note that our monthly fellowship lunch that typically occurs on the first Sunday of the month has been moved to next week, April 12.

Lessons from my two years serving at The Haven

Baptisms for babies, children, and adults have been the highlight of our morning services recently. Over the past few weeks, we had the joy of witnessing the baptisms of covenant children Isla and Ivy, new communicant member Jesse, and Pastor Barry's own granddaughter, Thea. Praise be to God!

Last evening we celebrated the ordination and installation of 3 new deacons. As River Valley has grown, so too has the workload for the deacon board. We have now doubled the number of deacons serving the congregation.

The fathers of all 3 of our newly installed deacons, Justin Miller, Carter Milroy, and Quinn McCracken are active RPCNA elders and were participants in the installation service.
