Today was the first Sunday of Lent which means we are only a few days away from a long standing Lent tradition in Monaca.
Our first Community Lenten Luncheon will be had at the Monaca United Methodist Church. The luncheons are free to attend, a free will offering will be collected if you chose to give. A light lunch is provided with time for fellowship and reflection in the Lenten season as a highlight of this ecumenical event. Special thanks to our own Fran Seaman as she is crucial in keeping this tradition alive! Join of one week or all of the weeks … we can not wait to see you!

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Strothers a friend of our church who regularly blesses us by playing her flute for services. We are so very proud of her !

We celebrated our annual Souper Bowl with a lunch of homemade soups and breads ! We voted with dollars who we thought would win the Super Bowl … the Seahawks won our Souper Bowl !! All money collected will be donated to Family Matters Food Pantry !! Thanks to all who participated!
