What a beautiful tribute to our beloved Steve.

Our next door neighbor, Steve McCrary of McCrary Farms, passed away yesterday. I met Steve when we first moved to Molena about a decade ago. He was always up for a good chat. I would joke that when I went to see Steve I had to set aside a good 30 mins for our farmer talk. First, we had to discuss the weather in great detail. Too wet, too dry, too hot, too much fungus Each year presented a different challenge with the weather and we could sympathize with each other. Then, he was always curious as to what we were planting, how we were planting it and how we were going to sell “all that” lavender. He was one of our biggest fans but certainly wasn’t above ribbing me when one of my crazy projects didn’t work out.

Steve was my friend and I will miss our talks. Rest easy my friend, the work is finished. Job well done!

Ana and Eva delivered the extra supplies to the clinic. So happy that they will continue to take care of our seniors.

We had a wonderful time seeing our friends st the neighborhood clinic. We see the same ones each year. It is like seeing old friends.
