Belleman's Church, one of the oldest houses in Berks county dates back to 1746. Our two congregations (United Church of Christ and Lutheran) first worshipped in a log cabin, then the historic Old Church 1815, and now the present building 1924.

Business Member Spotlight- Salem Belleman's Church

🌟Salem Belleman’s Church is a welcoming community of faith committed to worshiping Christ and serving others through word and deed. Through meaningful worship, local outreach, food pantry support, Opportunity House, mission trips, and other ministries, we seek to meet the needs of people in our congregation and beyond.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, our Lutheran and United Church of Christ congregations work together while maintaining their individual identities. Since 2003, both congregations have shared one pastor and worship together through unified services, choirs, youth programs, and committees.

Founded in 1746, Belleman’s Church is one of the oldest houses of worship in Berks County. The congregations first met in a log cabin, then in the historic Old Church built in 1815, and later in the current church building completed in 1924. The Old Church remains in use for seasonal worship services, hymn sings, weddings, and a Pennsylvania German worship service.
