The Pursuit Church and New Horizons Nazarene Church announce New Pursuit Campus in Mohall Mohall, ND:
The Pursuit Church announced a mutual agreement with New Horizons Nazarene Church in Mohall and the Prairie Lakes District of the Church of the Nazarene, resulting in the transfer of New Horizons' building for the future home of the Mohall campus of The Pursuit.
“This merger represents a significant step forward in our mission to see a fresh move of God across the state of North Dakota,” says Tom Foisy, Lead Pastor at The Pursuit Church. “We are grateful for the opportunity to expand our ministry and continue the legacy of New Horizons in Mohall.” Joining forces with The Pursuit Church will ensure that the Mohall community continues to have a vibrant and active presence in this building. This collaboration brings new vision and resources to their shared mission.
New Horizons Nazarene Church is known for its compassionate outreach and strong sense of community. New Horizons has built a legacy of faith and service that will continue to thrive through this new partnership with The Pursuit Church. In recognition of 105 years serving the Mohall community, New Horizons Church will hold its final church services on August 25th, led by Steve Hoffman, the Prairie Lakes District Director, followed by a celebration!
On October 13, 2013, the Pursuit had its first service in Minot. The lead pastor, Tom Foisy, always dreamed of planting a church and wanted it to reach people not currently attending or going to a church. The Pursuit began with over 100 people attending its first service in an old strip club in downtown Minot, and has since grown rapidly, moving to multiple services and changing venues. The church's vision has expanded to include more locations and a dynamic online worship experience. The Pursuit is passionate about rural communities in North Dakota; expanding a campus in Stanley, and now Mohall, is a way to continue their mission of making a difference in North Dakota.
The Pursuit Church dedicates itself to helping individuals pursue a meaningful relationship with Christ. With a thriving children's ministry, student ministry, and dynamic community groups. The Pursuit is known for its welcoming environment and commitment to community outreach. The Pursuit Church in Minot offers three Sunday services at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11:30 a.m., while the Stanley campus starts at 9:30 a.m. Dates and service times for the Mohall campus will be determined following a time for remodeling and introducing The Pursuit to the Mohall community.
