Our hearts are the very center of what controls us, the source of our thoughts, desires, motives, and affections that lead to the choices we make.

Guarding them requires us to diligently watch over what we allow to shape our lives. Intentionally filling our minds with God’s truth will produce wisdom that protects our relationship with Jesus, our character and ultimately the course of our lives.

Sadly, allowing our hearts to be influenced by sin, bitterness, pride, or deception, will lead us away from God and into destructive patterns and behaviors.

It is our desire to know Jesus and His truth that helps us learn how to protect our hearts. Be encouraged among our women. Join us Tuesday, January 27th at 6pm as we continue our study in Hebrews, Chapter 3. 💕

We’re excited to announce our upcoming study through the book of Hebrews as we enter into this new year! This rich and powerful book invites us to deepen our faith, strengthen our endurance, and fix our eyes on Jesus.

Whether you’re new to Bible studying or have walked with the Lord for years, Hebrews offers profound encouragement and truth for every believer.

Hebrews reveals the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ. Written to believers facing pressure, suffering, and temptation to drift back into old ways, the book proclaims that Jesus is better—better than angels, Moses, the priesthood, and the old covenant. He is our perfect High Priest, the once-for-all sacrifice for sin, and the fulfillment of God’s promises. Hebrews calls us to hold fast to our faith, persevere with endurance, and live boldly in light of Christ’s finished work.

We invite you to join us as we study Hebrews together and grow in confidence, hope, and unwavering faith in Christ.

Amid all the lights, the gifts, and the noise, Christmas gently reminds us of something far deeper. 🎄✨

Christmas is about God entering our broken world, not with power and riches, but in humility—wrapped in flesh, lying in a manger. “For unto you is born this day… a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)

It’s the story of grace, not earning.

Of love, not performance.

Of hope, born in the darkness.

Jesus came to seek, to save, to restore—to bring peace to hearts that are weary and light to lives struggling in the darkness. That’s why we celebrate. 🥰

May we slow down in this beautiful season to worship, to give thanks, and to remember: Christmas isn’t about what’s under the tree, but who hung on one and gave His life—for us. 🙏🏽

Merry Christmas from all of us to all of you. 💜

HEBREWS- The Supremacy of Christ.
Dr. David Jeremiah.
Available on Amazon.

The wisdom in Hebrews encourages us to persevere. To lay aside every weight and sin that so easily ensnares us. To run the race set before us with endurance, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

All through Hebrews we are reminded of the supremacy of Christ. To walk daily believing in His promises. To become spiritually mature. Walking in repentance and confession, staying far from deliberate sin. To accept God’s discipline - being attentive to His voice.

We look forward to the fellowship, prayer, teaching, and revelations from His Word.

The joy of the Lord is a divine gift through the Holy Spirit, an internal state of being that comes from being in His presence, distinct from fleeting happiness that comes from circumstances so joy can be experienced even in difficult circumstances because it is rooted in faith and God’s goodness, not external conditions.

Join us tonight as we hear Lina Richardson of Riverbank Assembly of God Church bring a message on joy and how a beautiful relationship with Christ makes it possible for all believers to experience the joy of the Lord!

You are all also invited to join our next book study on Hebrews; The Supremacy of Christ by Dr. David Jeremiah after our holiday break when we resume on January 6, 2026!His book can be found on Amazon.

Examples of giving thanks whether in times of prosperity or extreme adversity are given throughout the Bible from the Old Testament to the New. It is easy to be thankful in times of prosperity and much more difficult when we experience trials that wear us down or seem like no way out of. Only when we depend on Christ and seek him in all things, are we able to be thankful at all times. We pray that regardless of your circumstance, the Lord is with as you have a blessed Thanksgiving. ♥️
