Friends, I know this is hard—especially when you’ve been deeply wounded. However, true life is found in Christ. I have never wanted to practice this of my own free will, but when I choose to do so, I am set free from bitterness, and my eyes are redirected to the only One who can truly change hearts and circumstances.
On top of everything else, aren’t we called to model our lives after our Savior? That’s not to say you should ever remain somewhere your safety is at risk. But there is true life and freedom found in choosing to love even the unlovable, because Christ first loved us.
Right now, I’m challenging you to stop scrolling and take a moment to pray for the difficult person in your life. Your prayers don’t have to be pretty or polished. The Lord already knows how you feel, so just be honest with Him.
If you’re struggling with this but genuinely want to do what the Lord has called you to do, start here:
“Lord, I really want to obey Your commands, but I honestly don’t like this person, and I can’t bring myself to pray for them. Please change my heart and give me Your heart for this person and this situation.”
Please remember that the Women's Ministry Leadership Team prays for you always! It is our greatest desire that you would know Christ more and more. If you need prayer, please reach out so we can pray for YOU! 🤍- Jordan
