1- Don’t isolate yourself
2- Know that God is in control
3- Husbands, check in and be in tune with what your wife needs. Give her an opportunity to talk about it
4- Wives, you also need to check in with your husbands.
Look at the things that your spouse does great. Don’t look at the small things and allow them to consume you.
5- Discuss finances and participate in the decision making process.

Weekly Marriage Exercise:
Pray with your Spouse like you've never done before, here's the instructions: Grab hands and look into each others eyes. The Husband always leads each section and there are 3: "Forgiveness, Thankfulness, and Blessing"
Step 1 Forgiveness: While praying to God looking into the eyes of your spouse... EYES OPEN, and begin to ask God for forgiveness for past wrongs or mistakes. Wives do the same when he finishes
Step 2 Thankfulness: Begin to thank God for things about your Wife that you recognize and sets her apart from every woman you know, Wives do the same when he finishes
Step 3 Blessing: Begin to pray that God will bless your wife with the things that you know she needs in this season! Wives do the same when he finishes

Do this often enough that it has impact, but not so often that it becomes routine!

Welcome to The Better Blend page and this is officially our first POST.

We are planning on releasing our first Audio Podcast Easter weekend 2020 and we need your help.

Our vision statement is: “Living your best life, is having Jesus in everything you do. That’s truly The Better Blend”

Our mission statement is: “The Better Blend is incorporating our Christian faith in all areas of our lives. We may not have all the answers but together with Jesus, we can find the wisdom we need to manage day to day life!”

Here is how you can be a part. We need you to submit questions you’d like answered from a biblical standpoint as it pertains to premarital, marriage, blended family, living Single, single mom, single dad, elderly marriage, intimacy, marriage bed, and relationship boundaries. Our goal is to get you expert answers from wise men and women of God rooted in our Christian Faith.

Remember, “...We may not have all the answers but together with Jesus, we can find the wisdom we need to manage day to day life!”
