Enjoyed the NCSHP Member’s Assistance Team (MAT) training at Wake Tech in Raleigh. The Member’s Assistance Team is a diverse group that offers peer support to individuals (or groups) who have experienced a critical incident or traumatic event, as well as cumulative stress.

What does MAT do?

✅ Peer Support
✅ One-on-Ones
✅ Debriefings
✅ Defusing
✅ Training (In-Service)

Mission Statement:
~ To provide confidential assistance to agency members (sworn & civilian), their families, and the first responder community by providing peer support and advocating for their mental and emotional health. ~

It doesn’t matter which first responder agency to which you are affiliated. NCSHP MAT is here to help upon request.

A heartfelt thank you to the men and women of NCSHP Troop E for the outpouring of love and support shown to me and my family during the loss of my mother. 💗

Thank you for every call, text, and especially for those who took the time to attend her family visitation, Homegoing Service, and graveside service. Your presence meant more than you know.

I am truly grateful to serve as your chaplain and even more grateful to call you friends. Thank you for standing with my family during this difficult time. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten. 🙏💙

We thank God for you!
