Family,

Acts 20 reminds us that leadership is not about being the center of everything.

It is about stewardship.

Paul’s farewell to the Ephesian elders is emotional because real leadership involves real connection.

But what makes this chapter powerful is that Paul prepares the people to continue growing without his constant presence.

That is maturity.

Many people build dependence.
Healthy leaders build strength.

And this applies spiritually too.

Are we helping people become anchored in God…
or attached only to personalities?

Acts 20 challenged me to think differently about what it means to truly pour into others.

Because real leadership leaves people stronger, wiser, and more prepared than before.

Family,

Acts 19 is a warning and an invitation.

A warning against trying to operate in what we have not allowed God to fully develop within us.

And an invitation to pursue authentic transformation instead of performance.

The sons of Sceva had the language.
But they lacked the authority.

And eventually, what was rehearsed publicly was exposed under pressure.

That hit me deeply because so many people today feel pressure to appear ready before they are fully formed.

But God is not just building visibility.

He is building capacity.

He is building integrity.
He is building maturity.
He is building legitimacy.

And real transformation changes everything around you.

Acts 19 reminds us that authentic growth disrupts systems that were built on false identity, dependency, and performance.

So do not rush the process of becoming.

What God develops deeply within you will sustain you when pressure arrives.

Ask yourself honestly:

“What am I trying to operate in that I have not truly developed the capacity to carry?”

Because authentic authority cannot be imitated.

It must be formed.

Family,

Acts 16–18 reminds us that growth is not just about getting bigger.

It’s about becoming wiser.

Sometimes we pray for expansion without realizing expansion requires:

* discernment
* emotional maturity
* healthy relationships
* endurance
* wisdom in unfamiliar environments

These chapters challenged me personally because they reveal something many of us experience:

Not every closed door is rejection.

Sometimes God is protecting us.
Sometimes He is redirecting us.
Sometimes He is preparing us for something larger than what we can currently see.

And as the mission grows, leadership must grow too.

One of my favorite moments in these chapters is seeing how Priscilla and Aquila strengthen Apollos privately instead of publicly embarrassing him.

That is maturity.

Healthy leadership does not humiliate people while they are growing.
It helps develop them.

This latest lesson in the *From Passover to Pentecost* series explores:

* discernment
* influence
* sustainable growth
* healthy partnership
* and becoming the kind of leader who can steward expansion well

Because growth is not just about opportunity.

It is about capacity.

And God cares about both.

Leadership Lessons from Acts Most leaders want influence. Few are prepared for the disruption authentic influence creates.

Family,

Acts 13–15 reminds us that growth is not always comfortable.

Sometimes growth means:

Being stretched
Releasing control
Navigating conflict
Trusting God in unfamiliar places

One thing that stood out deeply to me is how the early church released people into purpose.

They didn’t hold people back out of fear.

They trusted what God was doing.

And then when conflict came, they addressed it with wisdom instead of division.

That matters because many of us want growth—but we don’t always want the stretching that comes with becoming.

But becoming requires maturity.

And maturity requires:

Endurance
Humility
Discernment
Trust

Acts 13–15 reminds us that expansion is not just about going farther.

It’s about becoming stronger while you go.

Family,

Acts 12 reminds us that pressure does not mean God has abandoned you.

This chapter is heavy:

Loss
Fear
Opposition
Uncertainty

And still—
God was moving.

What encourages me most is that the believers did not fall apart when pressure came.

They prayed.

That tells me something powerful:

Their relationship with God was not built only for easy seasons.

And honestly, I think many of us need that reminder.

Because sometimes we assume strength means never feeling pressure.

But real strength is staying grounded while pressure exists.

Acts 12 also reminds us that:

Hidden disciplines matter
Prayer matters
Humility matters
Foundation matters

What you build privately with God will sustain you publicly when life becomes heavy.

And maybe this is the question Acts 12 leaves us with:

What are you developing right now that will hold you steady later?

This lesson in the From Passover to Pentecost series is called:

“When Pressure Reveals What Prayer Built.”

And I believe this chapter speaks directly to this season for many women.

Family,

Acts 8 is not an easy read.

Because it confronts something many of us don’t want to deal with:

Silence.

“And Saul approved of their killing him.”

He didn’t speak.
He didn’t act.
But heaven still recorded his agreement.

And that’s the part we can’t ignore.

Because sometimes we think:
“I didn’t do anything…”

But the question is:

What did you allow?

As women of faith, becoming who God has called us to be requires more than:

Prayer
Presence
Good intentions

It requires conviction.

It requires courage.

It requires a willingness to stand—even when it’s uncomfortable.

So I want you to sit with this:

Where have you been quiet… when God was calling you to speak?

This isn’t about perfection.

It’s about alignment.

Family,

Acts 7 is a hard—but necessary—truth.

Stephen calls the people “stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears.”

In other words:

They were resistant.

Not because they didn’t know God…

But because they wouldn’t yield to Him.

And if we’re honest, this can show up in our lives too.

Not always loudly.

But quietly.

When we:

Hold on to our own way
Resist correction
Avoid what God is trying to show us

The part that struck me most?

They covered their ears.

They didn’t even want to hear the truth.

And I had to ask myself:

Am I really open to God’s voice…

or only the parts that feel comfortable?

Because growth requires surrender.

And surrender requires trust.

So today, the question is simple:

Are you willing to let God deal with your heart?

Not just your actions.

Not just your words.

But your heart.

Because that’s where real transformation begins.
