✨ PEACE, PRAYER & DIVINE MERCY ✨

We would LOVE to have you join us this Saturday, April 11 at St. Joan of Arc for a beautiful Eucharistic Holy Hour before the 4:00pm Mass!

From 3:00 to 3:45pm, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed as we joyfully celebrate the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday. What a grace-filled opportunity to come together in prayer and adoration!

We will also unite our hearts in prayer and solidarity with Pope Leo, who has called the faithful worldwide to pray for peace. Together, our prayers are powerful!

Come as you are — all are welcome. We hope to see you there! 🙏

Deacon Doug McEnery's funeral will be Monday, June 2, at 11:00am at Little Sisters of the Poor.

There will be visitation beforehand from 10:00 to 11:00, and a lunch reception after the funeral at St. Joan of Arc.

With sorrow but firm hope in eternal life, we announce that Deacon Doug McEnery died this morning at the Sacred Heart Residence of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Deacon Doug was a true servant of God and of the Church. He will be dearly missed.

Information regarding funeral arrangments will be forthcoming.

St. Joan of Arc Parish invites you to participate in The Divine Mercy Adoration, featuring the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament this Saturday from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., preceding the 4 p.m. Mass. The Divine Mercy chaplet will be recited at 3:15, followed by the rosary. All are welcome to attend!

Mourning Pope Francis:

Dear St. Joan of Arc Family,

I am deeply saddened at the news of the death of Pope Francis. He was to me and to so many of us a lamp shining in a dark world. Truly did he reflect the light of Christ to us all, particularly in his constant example and teaching to reach out to the marginalized, the poor, the oppressed, and the downtrodden.

Soon the cardinals will gather for a conclave and the election of a new pope, but the church observes a traditional period of mourning before the conclave begins. And so today begins the "novendiales," nine days of mourning for the deceased pontiff.

For these nine days, we will be praying a Novena for Pope Francis each evening at 5:30pm in St. Mary's Church. I hope you can join us.

You will also see that the entrances to both St. Joan of Arc and St. Mary's will be draped in black cloth, the traditional sign of mourning for a deceased pope.

Let these be nine days of mourning but also hopeful prayer for the repose of the soul of our beloved Pope Francis and the souls of all the faithful departed.

One of our beautiful stained glass windows is rarely illuminated because of the overhanging eaves outside it, but it turns out, the trick to seeing its glory is turning the church lights off on an overcast day, like today. Hail, Queen of Heaven!
