There is something deeply moving about seeing little hands ready to receive Communion in reverence before the Lord. As parents, we pray that our children will grow not only in wisdom and strength, but in faith — learning from an early age that true peace, joy, and salvation are found in Jesus Christ and in His Church.
Yesterday was a reminder that the Church is not just a building we attend, but a family of believers where children are taught to know, love, and follow God. What a blessing it is to watch a child approach holy things with innocence, humility, and wonder. My prayer is that these small hands will always be lifted toward Heaven, that this little heart will always hunger for the things of God, and that Christ will guide every step for years to come.
We live in a world that pulls children in many directions, which is why moments like these matter so much. Bringing our children before the Lord, teaching them His Word, worshipping together, and raising them in the fellowship of the Church are among the greatest responsibilities and blessings we have as parents.
