Look where we are in the magnificent prayer Jesus taught us. From Pastor Scott's Children's Message, he told them, "With temptation comes, I can stop, pray and choose God's way and the Holy Spirit will help me." For the big kids, he reminded us God tempts no one. Pastor Scott concludes the Lord's Prayer sermon series this Sunday. Our Little Pantry has truly been a blessing for our neighbors and the homeless in the area. This Sunday will have a free will offering to support our ongoing efforts.

It was a short summer break and now we are bringing back Sunday School this weekend. We are praying for teachers for our Pre-school and K-2 classes. If you are willing to take the year, a semester, a quarter or serve as a substitute. Please reach out to Pastor Scott or Ryan, if can help share Jesus with our little ones.

Our Lutheran Women in Mission are hosting the last Girls' Night Out of the summer tonight. Bring a friend and join them at BJ's for a dutch-treat dinner and fellowship.

It's our last Girls' Night Out for the summer. Join us on Thursday, Aug. 20 at BJ's at 5:30 p.m. Let Laura or Mary Anne know you're coming so they can make reservations.
