What a Blast We Had Today! 🎉🙌🏾
What a beautiful and blessed Sunday! Today, our youth led the worship service with such poise, confidence, and excellence. They sang until the power of the Lord came down!
We were especially excited to see several of our young people step up and share their gifts as new soloists. What a blessing to watch our youth discover, develop, and use their God-given talents.
A special KUDOS to our Youth Choir Leaders, Mona Parker and Paula Reese, for their love, dedication, and commitment to working with our youth choir. Your investment in our young people is making a difference!
After worship, our youth had the opportunity to minister beyond the walls of the church. We visited three of our members at two local nursing homes and served them Holy Communion. Our youth sang, prayed, encouraged, and shared their love with our seniors. ❤️It was truly beautiful to witness the connection between generations—our young people ministering to those who have paved the way for them. It reminded us that the church is strongest when every generation comes together in love and service.
And then… it was time to HAVE SOME FUN! 🎮🍔🎉
We headed to Dave & Buster’s to honor our youth and celebrate with them as they prepare to begin a new school year. We enjoyed dinner together, laughed together, and then the youth took off to play games and enjoy themselves!
Now they’re home, hopefully resting and getting ready for school tomorrow! 😊📚
Today, we praise, honor, and thank God for blessing us with such wonderful young people and for giving us the opportunity to minister to them, pour into them, celebrate them, and watch them grow.
To our youth: We are proud of you! We believe in you! We love you! And we are praying for you! 🙏🏾
Please keep all of our youth in your prayers as they begin this new school year. May God protect them, guide them, give them wisdom and confidence, surround them with positive influences, and bless them with a safe, successful, productive, and blessed school year!
