A New Day

This Sunday, we reflected on the mystery of those three days. While His body lay in the tomb, Jesus wasn’t absent or inactive. Scripture points to Him descending to the realm of the dead, declaring victory and fulfilling God’s plan. Even in what seemed like silence, God was still at work. And on the third day, Jesus rose in power, proving that not even death could hold Him.

Today, we gathered to celebrate the most powerful and life-changing moment in history the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is not just a day on the calendar, but a reminder of the hope, renewal, and love that we find in Him.
As we reflect on the significance of this season, we wanted to take a moment to share something truly special. Easter is a time for coming together, for celebrating the love and grace that binds us, not just as a church family, but as friends, loved ones, and a community of believers.
So, before we dive into our message later this week, we have a beautiful video to share with you. A message of love, encouragement, and joy from friends and family. It’s a reminder that even though we may be separated by distance, we are united in Christ, and we are never alone.

So don’t fret. Don’t let worry steal your peace. Lift your head, keep your faith strong, and be of good cheer. Even when things seem uncertain, there is still hope ahead and brighter moments waiting to unfold.

Bringing the Glory of God to Our Community

When we shine the light of God’s love, our whole community shines brighter. The glory of God is not just something we experience inside the walls of a church—it’s something we carry into our homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods every single day.

Just as Matthew 5:16 reminds us, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

We bring God’s glory to our community through kindness, unity, generosity, forgiveness, and standing together in faith. A helping hand, an encouraging word, a prayer for someone in need—these are powerful ways to reflect His love.
