There comes a moment in life when God asks us a simple but powerful question: What are you doing? Not just with your hands, but with your heart, your purpose, your gifts, and your life.
The Bible tells us in 📖 Ephesians 2:8-10 that we are saved by grace through faith. Grace is a gift. It cannot be earned, bought, or worked for. No amount of good deeds, church attendance, titles, or accomplishments could ever save us. Jesus did what we could never do for ourselves. He paid the price completely.
Sometimes people live their lives trying to prove their worth to others. They become people-driven instead of God-driven. They chase acceptance, applause, validation, and approval. But when you truly understand grace, you realize you do not have to perform for love. God already loved you before you got everything right.
📖 Verse 10 says, “For we are God’s masterpiece…” That means you are not random. You are not an accident. You are not forgotten. Jesus is the artist, and you are His masterpiece.
Before you were born, God already had an image in His heart concerning you. Every masterpiece begins with a vision in the mind of the creator. God saw your purpose before people ever saw your potential. He designed you with intention, love, and destiny. Even the parts of your life you do not fully understand are being shaped by the hands of the Master Artist.
A masterpiece is not created for the approval of the crowd. It is created to reflect the artist's heart. In the same way, our lives should reflect God rather than people's opinions. We were created to worship Him, honor Him, and walk in the purpose He planned for us long ago.
Long before you faced rejection, disappointment, mistakes, or hardship, God already prepared good works for your life. He already knew the calling on your life. He already knew the battles you would overcome. He already planned moments where your story would bring Him glory.
So the question is not whether God has a purpose for you. The question is: What are you doing with what He already placed inside of you? Stop measuring your life by people’s opinions. People will misunderstand you, overlook you, and sometimes criticize what God Himself created. Stay focused on the Artist. Stay surrendered to His vision for your life.
You are saved by grace. You are created with purpose. You are God’s masterpiece, and your life was planned long ago by the hands of a perfect Creator.
