🔥 What an amazing night at Refuge Youth! 🔥

Tonight was truly a powerful service! Juwan brought an incredible word from Matthew 25 about the 10 virgins, reminding us that we need to be like the five wise virgins who kept oil in their lamps. 🕯️

We were challenged to keep our “oil” full through worship, prayer, and reading God’s Word, because we don’t know the day or the hour when the Lord will return. The time to prepare our hearts is now! 🙏🔥

We also had a whole lot of fun tonight with some dodgeball! 🏐😂 But what happened afterward was even more powerful. Five students gave their lives to the Lord, and we experienced an incredible move of God during our altar time. 🙌❤️

What a night to remember! We are so thankful for everything God is doing in the lives of our students. The next generation is seeking Jesus, and we believe God is just getting started! 🔥

Some nights you walk in and leave completely different than when you came in. Last night was one of those nights.

Last night at Refuge YTH was one for the books. 🔥

Pastor Kris preached out of the story of Jacob wrestling with God and challenged every student to keep their grip — no matter how hard the fight gets. It was convicting, it was real, and the room felt every word of it. 13 people got right with Jesus last night and we are still celebrating that. 🙌

Now here is what is coming up this Sunday — Baptism and Growth Track are both happening and we want to see you there. If you are interested in either one DM us and we will get you the details.

Back to School Kickoff 2026 did NOT disappoint. 🔥🎒

We ate free Foosackly’s, we had a blast, and then the gospel went forth and 15 people got right with Jesus last night. That is what this was always about.

After that we celebrated with sports and games. Nights like last night are why we keep showing up and keep inviting people in.

Now we want to see every single one of you — new and old — at Refuge Church THIS Sunday at 10AM. Come continue the journey. Come take the next step. We will be right there with you. 🙌
