As many of you know this summer I had the opportunity to work with a group of women in a local village in Blantyre. They are known as the Future Care Women. This was the most amazing group of women I have ever had the privilege of knowing. They are the most joyous and selfless people I have ever met. They give so much of themselves in their community. They meet twice a week and do ministry in their local village, they do home visits, hospitals visits, really whatever is needed. I’ve seen them give their last to make sure someone else did not go without. The unity and selflessness they show is simply amazing.
I started a project with them to raise awareness and support for their ministry. I met with them twice a week and we knitted bracelets and bookmarks. I brought them back to the US to sell, so please help support them and spread the word. The prices range from $2 - $8, the average person in Blantyre earns less then $1.00 a day, so every thing helps!!
