Service details for William "Bill" Roberts
September 9, 2026

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
(Psalm 34:18)

William “Bill” Roberts passed away on September 9, 2026. He was born in 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, to John and Josephine Roberts. He would go on to serve in the US Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Annette, son Billy and his wife and daughter, Johnny and Lily Bolen, Noretta Bolen Greene and family, brothers Sam, David and Larry Harper, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:00 am at the West Side United Methodist Church building in Mobile, with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his favorite charity Disabled American Veterans.

Our prayers are with his family.

With great sorrow for our loss and certain confidence in God's enduring love for Bill, we commend him to heaven as a faithful servant and beloved brother in Christ.
