May God bless us with restless hearts, restless souls, and restless minds. Hearts, souls, and minds that refuse to accept the world as it is; that insist on loving our neighbors as ourselves as if the very survival of the world God so loves depends on it. Because you know what? It just may.

Needed items: Bibles, men’s clothing, (jeans, shorts, T-shirts, tennis shoes, socks, belts, underwear), backpacks, and toiletry items. If you have usable items that you no longer need, please consider donating them at the church office. Our neighborhood friends will be most appreciative.

As students return to classrooms, some to new schools and some to school for the very first time, let us take time today to pray for them as they enter a new school year.

- Pray for kindness and encouragement.
- Pray for good friendships.
- Pray for protection over them.
- Pray for wisdom and learning.
- Pray for peace instead of worry.
