As we guide our children through life milestones, some feel more challenging than others to talk about. Mars Hill Church suggests the Passport to Purity kit as a resource for parents talking with their kids about purity.

The Passport to Purity Class is for parents of 10 to 13-year-olds only to come and learn more about the purity commitment milestone. This class is a time to discuss and ask questions from staff and other parents who have walked this path before.

Our next Passport to Purity Class is Sunday, April 23 from 12:30- 1:30 pm in the Seminar. Lunch and childcare are provided so please register to allow for proper planning

Good Morning!

Just a reminder that if you have not registered your 4th-5th Grader for the upcoming retreat today is the last day to do so. Registration will be closing at 9:00 p.m. March 13th. (there is no cost)

This years we will center this retreat on doubt and how we are able to trust God even through hard times and questions remembering our Identity is in Christ and can't be taken from us.

We will be at the Fairhope Campus and drop off start at 5:30 pm on March 24th and ends at 4 pm on March 25th.

The retreat is March 24th-25th with the campout being on the Mars Hill Fairhope Campus.

This event will be a Mobile event only, we will just have it on the Fairhope Campus.

How does an afternoon of Christmas shopping without little ones tagging along sound?

Our annual Parents Day Out is our gift to you! On Saturday, December 17 from 10 am-2 pm, we will be providing childcare for you to Christmas Shop (YAY)!

We'll feed the kiddos Chick-fil-a, chips, juice, and Christmas cookies for lunch. There will be Christmas craft-making, Christmas movie-watching, and games!

There is a $5.00 fee (per child) and spots are limited so go ahead and register soon!

Let the first present your kids open this holiday season be one focused on Jesus! The Mars Kids Christmas Box is full of fun activities for kids to do throughout the Christmas season. Included is an Advent family devotional book that we think your family will love going through each night of Advent.

Supplies are very limited, so go ahead and register for yours now. Each box is meant for the whole family, so you only need one per family. Boxes are $5 each and can be picked up during morning services on Sunday, November 20.

Good afternoon, Mars Hill Parents!

We are excited to announce that Mars Kids 8:45 service will be back as of Sunday September 11th! Here are a few important details to keep in mind:

*8:45 am Mars Kids is for ages 3 months-3rd grade only.
*Our 4th & 5th grade class will only be offered during our 10:30 service.
*10:30 am Mars Kids will remain the same.

So much time, prayer, and hard work has gone into bringing back this service. We can’t tell you how amazing our volunteers are and that without them this wouldn’t have happened. They are amazing warriors for Christ that are giving their time, hearts, and energy to do Kingdom work to make Mars Kids function to its potential. Our classrooms have been very full because of the limit to just one service, so we are asking for parents that used to go to this service or are interested to please attend!

With the fantastic news of bringing back the 8:45 service we’d like to go over a few things as an update for all our parents.
-Per Mars Kids policy we do not allow food and drinks in the kid’s areas during Sunday mornings. With the high volume of allergies these days this helps our children's safety.
-For parents of babies and toddlers, if you could please make sure your children have a bottle or snacks prior to being brought to the nursery that would be amazing. You can always come and get them out of class if they need to be fed.
-For our older children, if you could please not pack snacks or bring your children in with food and drinks that would be amazing.
-It would also be a huge help if your kids could use the restroom before class 🙂. We have recently had some issues with an overuse of the restrooms, and it is interrupting class teaching times.

We know that there are so many different seasons in our lives, and we hope you know that God gives us one another to walk through those seasons. If there is anything specific going on in your family or with your children that you’d like to talk to us about, Karrie Anne and I are always available to do so. It helps us as a community of believers to be there for one another and to partner as much as one can to help. We are seeing an increase of families going through hard times and that can really affect our kiddos. Please know that we are praying over your families and that we love you and your children very much.

Is your child considering baptism or wanting to learn more about it?

Come join us after church from 12:30-1:30 on Sunday, August 21, as we talk all about baptism.

We will cover everything from what it is, why we do it, and when we do it. This class is really educational as well as fun, and it's for parents and their kids.

If your child is ready to be baptized please join us, or if your child just wants to learn what it is, please come! Lunch will be provided so please let us know everyone in your family that is coming as well as if you will need childcare for siblings that will not be attending the class.

At Mars Hill, we really hone in on the importance of having a strong community of fellow believers to walk through life with. One way we do this is providing our 4th & 5th graders with opportunities to get to know each other through Hangouts throughout the year.

For our next Hangout, we are super excited to announce that we are going to be doing laser tag and Bumper Cars at Lazer Zone 790 Schillinger Rd. N. Mobile AL 36608.

Parents, you need to drop your children off at this address by 4:45 on Friday August 26th. Karrie Anne will be in the parking lot with a sign in form that all parents must sign. Our play time starts when the doors open at 5pm, so please everyone be on time!

There will be 6 Chaperones, all of which are teachers for this class, as well as Karrie Anne and Jamie Beagle. We would like to remind you this is only for 4th and 5th graders who attend the class and not a time to invite friends.

There is a 20.00 registration fee and you will need to sign up by Aug 19th. We will be providing dinner, dessert, and drinks. If your children have any allergies please let us know and send them a meal they can eat. They are so excited about this event and can't wait to grow the relationships in this class.
