Our Mission: The Mission of Prince of Peace Catholic church is to foster an atmosphere for people of all ages that will provide and enrich a deep, faith-filled relationship with God and Neighbor. In May 1970, there were two parishes located within four blocks of each other. Vincent's parish was located at the corner of Lawrence and Palmetto Streets existed to serve the Caucasian community while St. Peter Claver located at the corner of Dearborn and Palmetto Streets existed to serve the African-American community. Upon Bishop May's arrival in Mobile he became aware of the closeness of the two churches and performed a study to identify the needs of the two changing communities and residential patterns with a target of creating a spirit of togetherness and inclusiveness rather than divisiveness. Early in 1970, many meetings were held with parishioners of both parishes and a decision was reached to combine the parishes and change the name to Prince of Peace. Vincent's would be the home of the new parish.

Dear All,

I would love you to come and join me and the people of St. Catherine's for this special celebration of "ALL SAINTS." This is a great chance for us to celebrate our UNITY as the BODY OF CHRIST.

The Mass will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Prince of Peace Combined Choir will sing a Communion Meditation. Parishioners from St. Theresa will be sharing their Choctaw Heritage through food, song, costume and dance at the festival. Soul Food from Prince of Peace's Cooks for Christ will be sold at the festival along with food from over 30 other countries.

Please make plans to come and join for this special celebration. May we all gather as ONE as we look forward to that day when we will all gather around the ONE SAME table in Heaven with ALL the SAINTS!

The 89th ACCW Convention hosted this year by the Mobile Deanery, got underway Sunday with a "Boots on the Ground" fun night, chaired by Carolyn Francis, Brenda Elliott, and Brenda Patterson, followed by a luncheon Monday, where our own Father Vic, was the Guest Speaker! This year's Registration was Chaired by Jackee and Bernadine Ransom, kudos Prince of Peace. We hope that tomorrow's brunch is awesome as well! Safe travels to all the Deaneries across the state that will travel home tomorrow evening and Wednesday! Also, congrats to the newly elected officers!! 🙌🏻🙌🏾🙌🏼

A message from Parishioner Brittney Yates!

I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to my Prince of Peace Family, with some extra love on top for Pamela Horner, Devin Stiell-Pate and ESPECIALLY Fr. Vic! You all did everything you could to ensure that our wedding was God filled and seamless! This is not just my Parish, it is my family!
